To log in and log out,


Step 1: Click on the VSight app icon on your iOS device to open the app.

Step 2: Enter the name of your account (1), as well as your personal access data in the form of username (2) and the associated password. (Fig. 17) (3)

  • You can get this information from your admin. 

  • If you no longer have your access data at hand or have forgotten your password.

  • Please contact your admin to create a new password for you.


Step 3: In case you are located in China, please check the box "I log in from China". (4)


Step 4: The 6-digit ID (5) allows mobile users without credentials to swiftly connect to an expert in a VSight Remote session.


Step 5: In case you received a QR code for your login, please click on the respective field. (6)

  • This opens a scanner with which you can read your QR code. 

  • After a successful scan process, you will be automatically logged-into the app.


As an add-on, VSight offers the single sign-on (SSO) function or the integration of your Azure Active Directory (AD). (5) Please contact your administrator in this regard. 


In case you are located in China, please check the box "I log in from China" (6) before using the application (click "How can I login from China to VSight Remote?" for more information).


Step 6: Finally, click on 'LOGIN' (8) to access the app.


Step 7: To log out of the app, you can either use the Logout button (1) or open your profile (1) and select “Logout” (3) from the drop-down menu. (see Fig. 20)

  • To just close the application without logging out, press the home button, as is common practice in Android. 

  • Either way will get you back to your home screen.


Logout


Please note that simply closing the app will not automatically log you out. Thus, you do not have to log in again when you open the app the next time. Instead, you will directly end up in the app.
