Installing VSight Remote on Smart Glasses

VSight Remote empowers field teams to collaborate seamlessly with remote experts using smart glasses. This article provides comprehensive installation instructions for RealWear, Vuzix, Epson, and other supported smart glasses, including download links and setup steps.

🧑‍💼 RealWear Smart Glasses (HMT-1, HMT-1Z1, Navigator Series)

Step 1: Set Up Vysor

1. Download Vysor from vysor.io and install it on your PC or Mac.

2. Connect your RealWear device to the computer using a USB cable.

3. Open Vysor. Once detected, click "View" to mirror the device screen.

Step 2: Install the APK

1. Download the VSight APK file to your computer.

2. Drag the APK into the mirrored Vysor window.

3. Wait a couple of minutes until the installation is completed.

Step 3: Launch VSight Remote

1. On your RealWear device, say "My Programs".

2. Find and launch the VSight Remote app.

ℹ️ Alternative Installation via Account Manager Account Managers can install the VSight Remote app remotely on RealWear devices by providing the device's serial number. Contact your VSight representative for assistance.

📌 Important: If you encounter issues with Vysor or device connectivity, first ensure that all drivers for your device are up to date and that USB debugging is enabled on the device.

🧑‍💼 RealWear Smart Glasses (HMT-1, HMT-1Z1, Navigator Series) via Foresight (HMT-1, HMT-1Z1, Navigator Series)

If you already have a Realwear Foresight account, you can add VSight application to your device automatically.

Step 1: Set Up Realwear Foresight

1. Login to Foresight.

   
   

2. Select Apps / Enterprise / Add icon

   

3. Download the VSight APK file to your computer via: : https://app.vsight.io/downloads/remote/apk

4. Upload apk via button and type 'VSight Remote' to application name. Select Publish.

   

5. Select the device you want to install VSight app on Devices menu.

6. Select Applications

   

7. Select Enterprise Apps and Select VSight Remote install button.

   

8. VSight Remote application will be available on your Realwear device menu.

Step 2: Launch VSight Remote

1. On your RealWear device, say "My Programs".

2. Find and launch the VSight Remote app.

📝 Vuzix M-Series (M300, M300XL, M400, M4000, Blade)

Manual Installation via USB

1. Download the APK to your computer.

2. Connect the Vuzix device via USB and enable File Transfer.

3. Copy the APK to internal storage.

4. Use the File Manager on the glasses to install the APK.

Installation Steps

1. Download the correct APK for your model.

2. Transfer the APK using USB or microSD card.

3. On the glasses, open File Manager and install the APK by tapping the file.
